What is this call about?

The call funds lump-sum contributions to tuition fees for GEM master's students on a one-semester DIGI-ME exchange at the universities of Pavia or Vaasa. It is aimed at full-time M1 or M2 students who are citizens of the EU or eligible Digital Europe Programme countries.

What does this call fund?

Scope

The scholarships help Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) students take a one-semester exchange on the DIGI-ME path at the University of Pavia (Italy) or the University of Vaasa (Finland), extending their skills in advanced digital technologies. The DIGI-ME project is co-funded by the European Union.

Financial support

  • Up to three scholarships for an exchange in Pavia and up to three for Vaasa, each for a single mobility of up to four months between January and June 2027.
  • Item A: a fixed lump sum of €3,000 towards tuition fees for all beneficiaries.
  • Item B: an additional €500 for participants with fewer opportunities, such as recipients of the higher levels of the French CROUS grant, students with a certified disability of at least 50%, refugees or displaced persons, students with young children, working students, recognised professional athletes, orphans and children of victims of terrorism or organised crime.
  • 80% is paid within 30 days of signing the Mobility Agreement and 20% at the end of the mobility after verification of completion, learning outcomes and arrival and departure certificates.
  • The scholarship cannot be combined with other EU funding for the same purpose.

Evaluation

A panel of three GEM experts assesses eligible applications on academic background (65%), motivation (25%) and additional experience (10%), with a minimum threshold of 70%. In case of equal scores, priority goes to female applicants, then applicants from low socio-economic backgrounds, applicants with disabilities, applicants from countries with a low DESI score and members of minority groups. A ranked reserve list is kept. Successful applicants must accept within five business days, and appeals may be lodged within three business days of the result.

Status of the call

The call is not an EU action; it is launched by GEM, which provides the support in its own name and under its own responsibility.
