Digital Europe Programme · DIGITAL-2022-SKILLS-03-SPECIALISED-EDU
Tuition scholarships of €8,000 to €10,000 for GEM master's students on the DIGI-ME triple degree with Pavia and Vaasa.
What is this call about?
The call funds lump-sum contributions to tuition fees for GEM students taking the DIGI-ME triple degree path with the universities of Pavia and Vaasa. It is aimed at full-time students in three GEM master's programmes who are citizens of the EU or eligible Digital Europe Programme countries.
What does this call fund?
Scope
The scholarships help Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) students complete the DIGI-ME path of a triple degree programme with the University of Pavia and the University of Vaasa, extending their skills in advanced digital technologies. The DIGI-ME project is co-funded by the European Union.
Financial support
- Up to ten candidates receive a lump sum towards tuition fees for two mobility periods totalling 8 to 10 months: January to May 2027 at the University of Pavia (Italy) and January to May 2028 at the University of Vaasa (Finland).
- Item A: a fixed contribution of €8,000 for all beneficiaries.
- Item B: an additional €2,000 for participants with fewer opportunities, such as recipients of the higher levels of the French CROUS grant, students with a certified disability of at least 50%, refugees or displaced persons, students with young children, working students, recognised professional athletes, orphans and children of victims of terrorism or organised crime.
- 80% is paid within 30 days of signing the Mobility Agreement and 20% at the end of the mobility period after verification of completion and learning outcomes.
- The scholarship cannot be combined with other EU funding for the same purpose.
Evaluation
A panel of three GEM experts assesses eligible applications on academic background (65%), motivation (25%) and additional experience (10%). Candidates need at least 70% to be selected. In case of equal scores, priority goes to female applicants, then applicants from low socio-economic backgrounds, applicants with disabilities, applicants from countries with a low DESI score and members of minority groups. Applicants above the threshold but below the cut-off go on a reserve list. Successful applicants must accept within five business days, and appeals may be lodged within three business days of the result.
Status of the call
The call is not an EU action; it is launched by GEM, which provides the support in its own name and under its own responsibility.
