¿De qué trata esta convocatoria?

The action funds postdoctoral fellowships for researchers of any nationality who move to a host organisation in a Widening country. Applications are made jointly by the researcher and the host.

Scope

The action builds on the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2027 and funds excellent researchers undertaking cross-border mobility to a host organisation in a Widening country. Researchers of any nationality may come to the EU from anywhere in the world or move within the EU to a Widening country.

Fellowship options

• An optional secondment anywhere in the world, as one or several periods, of no more than one third of the standard fellowship duration.
• An additional period of up to six months for a placement in a non-academic organisation established in an EU Member State or Horizon Europe Associated Country at the end of the project, if requested in the proposal.

Training and career development

Training should cover transferable skills, innovation and entrepreneurship, research integrity and Open Science. A Career Development Plan, prepared jointly by supervisor and researcher, is submitted as a deliverable at the start of the action.

Expected outcomes

• For fellows: broader skills, better employability and stronger networks.
• For host organisations: working conditions aligned with the European Charter for Researchers, better training and supervision, and stronger research capacity.
• For Widening countries: more postdoctoral researchers attracted.
