The call funds Finnish micro, small and medium-sized enterprises to bring innovative, high-TRL cybersecurity solutions to market. Support covers piloting, development and market-entry measures, with 30% self-financing.

What does this call fund?

Scope

The call offers financial support to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises registered in Finland to improve the market readiness and commercialisation of innovative cybersecurity solutions. Only innovative solutions with a high technology readiness level are financed.

Eligible activities

• Piloting, optimisation and other development work supporting the market readiness of the solution.
• Other measures promoting commercialisation, market entry and uptake.
• Determining the preconditions for internationalisation of a product or service.

Excluded activities

Marketing and other sales promotion, export aid, and aid contingent on using domestic rather than imported goods or services are not financed.

Funding and payment

Projects require 30% self-financing. 70% of the support is paid after the funding decision and 30% after the project report and actual costs have been approved by Traficom.

Evaluation

Applications, with a project plan annex, are submitted through an online form. Traficom checks eligibility and scores proposals on relevance, implementation and impact; all applicants receive an administrative decision.
