¿Qué financia esta convocatoria?

Scope

Innowwide supports SMEs and start-ups in assessing the feasibility of their innovative solutions in markets outside Europe. SMEs carry out market feasibility projects to test the viability of their research or commercial ambitions in a chosen target country, working with a local counterpart there.

Project set-up

  • Each project includes an independent subcontractor (local counterpart) in the target country, in Africa, the Americas, Asia or Oceania; these entities benefit indirectly as subcontractors.
  • Projects focus exclusively on civil applications and last six months.
  • The minimum total eligible project cost is €86,000, subcontracting costs must be above zero, and the project includes a combination of eligible activities.

Application

Applications are submitted in English on the Eureka SmartSimple platform by a legal representative of the SME, together with a workplan in the template provided. The main subcontractor must sign a commitment and declaration of honour on the platform for the application to be complete.

Evaluation

Two remote experts assess each application on excellence, impact, and quality and efficiency of implementation (out of 100, with thresholds of 18, 24 and 18 points). The top 105 proposals above threshold go to an independent evaluation panel and ethics review, which produce a selection list and a reserve list. Results are expected in the first quarter of 2027, and the first 70 ranked SMEs are offered a grant agreement.
