Scope

The call supports projects that advance the EU Code Week mission of promoting coding, computational thinking and digital skills across Europe, aiming for large-scale impact on EU Code Week performance indicators during the implementation period. The call is launched and funded solely by Junior Achievement Europe (JA Europe) within the Code4Europe project; it is not an EU action.

Key tasks

• Organising many impactful coding, computational thinking, digital skills and STEM activities.
• Increasing the number of activities registered on the EU Code Week platform and reaching many participants locally, regionally, nationally or across borders.
• Increasing the participation of girls and young women in coding, digital skills and STEM.
• Career-focused events and university visits linking schools, students and higher education.
• Activities that can be replicated or scaled beyond the project period.

Evaluation

A selection committee of community stakeholders and Code4Europe Consortium representatives assesses presentation, design congruity, quality and impact, with specific attention to involving girls. Priority goes to projects delivering many activities and participants while maintaining educational quality and measurable impact.
