Support for implementing a cybersecurity monitoring solution (SIEM) in SMEs

What is this call about?

The call funds Slovak small and medium-sized enterprises to deploy a SIEM cybersecurity monitoring solution. Grants cover 90% of eligible costs, from €10,000 to €40,500 per project.

What does this call fund?

Scope

Projects must support the implementation of a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution in a small or medium-sized enterprise. The measurable output is one enterprise with an implemented SIEM, and the project objective must be maintained for three years after financial completion.

Mandatory phases

• Analysis
• Preparation of infrastructure, information systems and log sources
• Design and configuration of rules
• Deployment and integration of the SIEM solution in the applicant's environment
• Testing
• Transition to operation, adoption and training

An optional cybersecurity audit under Slovak Act No. 69/2018 Coll. on Cybersecurity may follow the deployment.

Eligible costs

The purchase of the SIEM solution itself is not an eligible cost. Aid intensity is 90% of total eligible costs. For de minimis purposes, only the national 50% share of the grant counts towards the €300,000 ceiling.

Selection and payment

Applications are checked against the grant conditions and exclusion criteria. If the allocation is insufficient, applications are ranked on relevance, maturity, impact, enterprise size and financial situation; a project needs at least 11 points. Grants are reimbursed after completion of an activity or as one final payment, and pre-financing of up to 50% may be granted to beneficiaries in a good financial situation.

When is the deadline?

19 October 2026. The signed application must reach the NCC-SK through the Slovak e-government mailbox no later than 5 working days after online submission.
