What is this call about?

The call funds tuition and enrolment fee waivers for up to four students in two UNINA public administration master's programmes. Beneficiaries also complete a UPRAISE module on AI, virtual worlds and digital transformation in the public sector.

What does this call fund?

Scope

The University of Napoli Federico II (UNINA) offers tuition and enrolment fee waivers under the UPRAISE project to students admitted to two postgraduate programmes of its Department of Economics, Management, Institutions: the Master in Public Managerial Practice and the Master in Digital Transformation of Public Administration. The call aims to widen access to advanced training and reduce financial and socio-economic barriers.

Learning activity

Beneficiaries must also complete a 24-hour online UPRAISE module on artificial intelligence and data-driven public services, virtual worlds, immersive technologies and digital twins, the organisational implications of emerging technologies, and innovation in public services. Completion requires at least 70% attendance and a positive final assessment, and leads to a UPRAISE Certificate of Completion without ECTS credits in Cycle 1.

Financial support

Up to four beneficiaries receive a full or partial fee waiver of up to €5,000 each, with a total allocation of €20,000. The maximum is €4,000 for the Master in Public Managerial Practice and €5,000 for the Master in Digital Transformation of Public Administration. No part of the support is paid directly to beneficiaries.

Selection

A selection committee scores applications out of 100 points: academic and professional background (65), motivation and expected contribution (25) and additional experience shown in the CV (10). Applicants scoring at least 70 may be funded; others above the threshold may be placed on a reserve list. Financial need, inclusion and widening participation are taken into account under the UPRAISE FSTP Guidelines.
