¿De qué trata esta convocatoria?

The topic funds common procurement of ammunition, missiles and other explosive weapons by Member States and associated countries to replenish stockpiles. Each procurement must be worth at least €20,000,000.

¿Qué financia esta convocatoria?

Scope

The topic supports common procurement of ammunition (including small arms, tank and anti-tank, artillery and guided ammunition), missiles of all types, and other explosive weapons, or parts of them, to help replenish stocks. Other explosive weapons include hand grenades, land and naval mines, mortars, rockets, torpedoes and unmanned aerial, ground, surface and underwater systems able to perform guided strikes, such as attack drones and loitering munitions. It is part of the first call for proposals for common procurement actions under the programme.

Eligible activities

Actions consist of cooperation between legal entities in procuring these products at any point in their life cycle, including for establishing, managing and maintaining defence industrial readiness pools. Where relevant, for example unmanned systems for guided strikes, contracts are expected to include provisions for rapid upgrades based on lessons from the battlefield.

Expected impact

Stronger cooperation between Member States and associated countries and greater interoperability; building or increasing strategic stockpiles of ammunition and missiles, including components; and development of low-cost unmanned systems for guided strikes adapted to modern warfare scenarios.
