¿Qué financia esta convocatoria?

Scope

This topic covers the e-Justice priority of the Justice Programme call for transnational projects on e-Justice, victims' rights and procedural rights, under the access to justice objective. The key aim is to support implementation of Regulation 2023/2844 on the digitalisation of cross-border judicial cooperation, and to facilitate electronic cross-border interaction and communication between judicial authorities and with citizens, businesses and practitioners.

Primary priority

  • Preparatory and implementation activities for Regulation 2023/2844, including national access points to the decentralised IT system and the regulation's provisions on videoconferencing and electronic payment of fees.
  • Further cross-border videoconferencing actions outside that regulation, such as an IT solution for digital identification of the parties to a trial under the European Digital Identity Framework, and solutions that give vulnerable people, people lacking digital skills and people with disabilities equal access to videoconferencing in court.

Proposals should show a direct and concrete link to specific provisions of the legislation; broad policy links alone may not meet the scope.

Secondary priority

Joining or improving existing e-Justice projects; implementing the European Case Law Identifier in case law repositories and connecting national solutions to the search engine on the e-Justice Portal; taking part in the European Court Database; developing cross-border functions of national judiciary portals, including AI solutions; creating a repository of open source software for judicial tasks; and taking part in the Find a Lawyer and Find a Notary tools on the e-Justice Portal. National projects are funded only where they show clear EU added value, and transnational projects have priority.

Eligible activities

Analytical, conceptual, design and elaboration work, IT software development, quality assurance and related measures to set up new IT systems or to expand or adapt national and transnational solutions. Where relevant, projects must comply with the eIDAS Regulation, use the Digital Building Blocks developed under the Connecting Europe Facility, and use results from the e-CODEX project and ISA core vocabularies. Project management, content preparation, communication and dissemination are also eligible.
