FORTIS Open Call 2: deployment of the FORTIS solution and its use in other key sectors

Scope

The call seeks universities, research organisations, mid-caps, SMEs, start-ups and end-users able to integrate their technologies into the FORTIS human-robot interaction framework or to show its adoption in other sectors. Proposals must enter at TRL 4-5 and aim to reach TRL 7 by the end of the project.

Topic OC#2.1: Pushing towards the deployment of FORTIS

Integration and pilot deployment, under eight subtopics:

• optimisation of human-robot collaboration and task allocation;
• flexible interface digital twin;
• HRI watchdog;
• HRI activities digital twin;
• omnideployment of the FORTIS solution;
• ergonomics-aware human state and interaction context for adaptive collaboration;
• interfaces with extended reality;
• trust-aware multi-sensor localisation and mapping for FORTIS robotic platforms.

Topic OC#2.2: Exploiting the FORTIS solution in other key sectors

An open topic for technology transfer and cross-sector validation in non-core civilian HRI domains such as agriculture, healthcare, events and retail.

Funding conditions

• A lifetime ceiling of €200,000 per legal entity applies across all FORTIS open calls combined.
• The budget for non-industry partners cannot exceed 30% of the total project budget.
• Applications are submitted online through the F6S platform.
