Questo bando è stato annunciato ma non è ancora aperto. Date e condizioni possono ancora cambiare.
Di cosa tratta questo bando?
The call funds research on how connected and automated road mobility can detect and handle critical situations such as incidents, extreme weather or cyberattacks, involving road authorities, operators and emergency services.
Cosa finanzia questo bando?
Scope
This Horizon Research and Innovation Action addresses connected, cooperative and automated mobility (CCAM) in critical, less regular and higher-risk situations, such as extreme weather, road incidents, cyberattacks, traffic disruptions and sudden loss of the operational design domain. It takes the perspective of technology and infrastructure as well as users, service providers, authorities and cities.
Expected activities
- A clustered list of critical scenarios, affected stakeholders and their roles, estimated impacts and suitable CCAM-based countermeasures.
- Development and testing of tools and services to detect critical situations and edge cases.
- Development and testing of CCAM-based countermeasures, considering artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, EU emergency response protocols and decision-support tools integrated into mobility platforms, traffic control and emergency services.
- Attention to user trust and perception.
- Validation of risk reduction, partly through simulation, and of integration into existing platforms in relevant environments (TRL 5).
Expected outcomes
A collection of critical use cases, stakeholder analysis, real-time situation interpretation services, a local architecture that detects and resolves corner cases, harmonised interfaces with road authorities, operators and emergency services, and greater user acceptance. Activities are expected to reach TRL 5-6 by the end of the project.
