Cosa finanzia questo bando?

Scope

Proposals should address all of the following:

  • Establish, validate or refine methods and models in health economics, health systems, epidemiological or outcomes research to carry out cost-effectiveness and epidemiological analyses that benefit people at risk of cancer and cancer patients.
  • Take account of socio-economic inequalities and socio-demographic, organisational and cultural trends, involving people at risk, patients and caregivers through participative research.
  • Calculate cancer-control healthcare expenditure and its relation to value-driven care, reflecting local, regional and national differences across EU Member States and Associated Countries.
  • Demonstrate how access to and organisation of evidence-based, cost-effective cancer control programmes can be improved in cancer centres, hospitals, at home or in community settings.

Expected outcomes

  • People at risk of cancer, patients and caregivers gain access to more effective and cost-effective cancer control programmes.
  • Researchers, physicians, innovators and SMEs gain access to data on healthcare spending, such as expenditure, prescriptions, drug pricing, reimbursement and registry data.
  • Health systems and policymakers obtain evidence to improve equitable outcomes, address direct and indirect costs and deliver value-driven cancer care.
