Que finance cet appel ?
Scope
The call, under the Justice Programme, aims to contribute to the effective and consistent application of EU law, including the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU, by addressing the training needs of justice professionals in line with the European Judicial Training Strategy 2025-2030. It also finances training activities and tools for training providers to be rolled out at national level.
Training topics
- Digitalisation: digital and AI literacy skills, EU legislation on the digital economy and society, procedural law and decentralised IT systems for cross-border cooperation, and awareness of the benefits of digitalisation.
- Fundamental rights, including non-discrimination, equality and the rule of law.
- Civil and criminal law, covering a list of specific EU instruments.
Target group
Judges, prosecutors, court and prosecution office staff, and other justice professionals associated with the judiciary, such as lawyers in private practice, notaries, bailiffs, insolvency practitioners, mediators, court interpreters and translators, and prison and probation staff. Leaders and managers in the justice sector and multipliers such as judicial trainers are also covered.
Activities that can be funded
Examples include coordinated training on digital justice tools, pilot innovative training, practice-oriented seminars, exchanges of justice professionals, cross-border initial training, cross-professional training, joint study visits to European courts, creation, update or translation of training material, train-the-trainer activities, evaluation of training, and building or sustaining European training networks. Training activities must include participants from different participating countries, and applicants should avoid duplicating existing training offers.
Funding
The grant is a lump sum based on the estimated project budget and a 90% funding rate. Coordination and management costs should not exceed 10% of total costs. Financial support to third parties is not allowed.
