Scope

The AI Entrepreneurs Lab is an intensive five-day founder bootcamp for early-stage talent in applied AI and robotics. A cohort of up to 15 people works hands-on to turn research and early ideas into the foundations of a company. The programme takes place across three cities and ends with a Demo Day.

Focus areas

Ideas should sit in core AI and robotics, where AI or robotics is central rather than an add-on. Listed areas include:

  • AI agents and autonomous systems
  • edge AI and AI infrastructure
  • robotics intelligence
  • trustworthy and secure AI
  • foundation and generative models
  • industrial AI deployment

What participants receive

  • A place in a cohort of up to 15 applied-AI founders
  • Mentoring on founder readiness, customer discovery, commercial-model testing, pitch development and investor readiness
  • Feedback from mentors, start-ups, corporates and investors, together with introductions
  • The chance to win one of up to five prizes of €10,000, awarded on merit at Demo Day to fund concrete progress on the venture
  • Travel and accommodation support for the top 15 may be provided, subject to programme rules and budget

Context

The Lab forms part of the EU ApplyAI Strategy and is run by 28DIGITAL under the EIT Community AI & Robotics. Its aim is to help technical talent move from research towards founding a company.
