Scope
The AI4CI project, co-funded by the European Union, supports students of the continuing education master's programme Artificial Intelligence for Connected Industries at Ulm University in Germany. Support offered
- Up to 80 fee waivers for individual modules taken in the winter term 2026-2027 (October 2026 to March 2027), with a total of up to €80,000.
- Each waiver covers 80% of the tuition fee of a module. Module fees range from €585 to €1,800, so waivers range from €468 to €1,440.

- Double funding from EU sources for the same purpose is not permitted.
Evaluation
The Study Programme Committee and the talent scouting team evaluate each module application separately within 10 working days of the deadline. Points depend on the curriculum area: 3 for the mandatory Artificial Intelligence area, 2 for Systems and Networks, Automatics and Robotics or Processes and Data Management, and 1 for free electives. Ties are resolved by giving priority to women and gender minorities, applicants with disabilities and applicants with caregiving duties, and then by random draw. Remaining eligible applications go on a reserve list.
