Scope

The call aims to establish, develop or improve cooperation between Lithuanian NGOs and advocacy-focused civil society organisations in other EU Member States, strengthen organisational capacity and promote collaboration on advocacy while upholding EU values.

Expected impact

  • New and stronger cross-border partnerships.
  • Better advocacy skills and more mutual learning.
  • Improved public understanding of EU values, including equality and the rights of persons belonging to minorities.

Funding

Up to 20 projects will receive grants of up to €5,000 each. Projects may last up to 6 months and receive lump-sum funding in two instalments: 80% on signing the grant agreement and 20% after approval of the final reports.

Evaluation

The Open Lithuania Foundation first checks administrative eligibility. Two independent experts then score eligible applications against quality criteria, with a third expert appointed if their scores differ by more than 30 points. The Selection Committee reviews the expert conclusions, may propose budget adjustments and approves the projects recommended for funding. Applications below the minimum scores or not in line with EU values are excluded.
