Cet appel est annoncé mais pas encore ouvert. Les dates et les conditions peuvent encore changer.
Quel est l’objet de cet appel ?
The topic funds projects that open integrated research infrastructure services to researchers and innovators for challenge-driven work in one of six areas, from cancer research to semiconductors and geohazards.
Que finance cet appel ?
Scope
The topic funds transnational access (on site or remote) and/or virtual access to integrated and customised services of complementary, top-level research infrastructures, for challenge-driven research and innovation in one of six areas. The main goal is access to existing services; short-term development of services offered within the action is also supported, and mid-term development (two to three years) when duly justified. Proposals should adhere to the European Charter for Access to Research Infrastructures.
Areas
Each proposal addresses one area and must state which:
- Area 1: cancer research through integrated biomedical infrastructures, covering imaging, genomics, proteomics, clinical trial management and AI-based analysis.
- Area 2: sustainable and resilient agrifood systems and agroecological transitions with a One Health approach.
- Area 3: resilient and sustainable polar ecosystems, including climate, biodiversity, pollution and impacts on indigenous and local communities.
- Area 4: material circularity and better environmental performance of materials.
- Area 5: sustainable development of next-generation semiconductor chips and related technologies, in line with the European Chips Act.
- Area 6: geosphere research infrastructures for research on geohazards and their link with human-induced changes.
What projects provide
- A wide portfolio of services of European interest, including data services and customised workflows, with a list of installations and units of access offered.
- User training and scientific and technical support, additional courses such as data stewardship, and places for researchers or technical staff from widening and candidate countries in selected user projects.
- An outreach plan aimed at widening and candidate countries and at industry, including SMEs.
- Presentation of access opportunities in the single-entry portal of the most appropriate access pilot, and close collaboration with related access actions.
Expected outcomes
- More efficient access to the best infrastructures regardless of location, and leading-edge research for a wider user community.
- A new generation of researchers trained to use these tools, and better FAIR management of infrastructure data.
