Que finance cet appel ?
Scope
The programme helps SMEs develop space-based green solutions, from early ideas to market-ready products. It funds the contracting of external service providers who help beneficiaries design, scale up or commercialise space-enabled green solutions, or adopt solutions already on the market.
Project types
- Type A transformation projects: solutions with a positive environmental impact for the company itself, for example processes that reduce resource use, waste or pollution.
- Type B transformation projects: solutions with a positive environmental impact for users, for example new or improved products for resource management or environmental monitoring.
- By maturity stage, projects are ideation, scale-up or commercialisation projects.
Focus areas
- Better circularity through improved use of resources and waste management.
- Safe, resource-efficient and environmentally friendly management of primary, secondary and critical raw materials.
- Improved environmental monitoring.
Applicants should show their potential to use downstream space data such as Earth observation, remote sensing or satellite navigation.
Funding and support
All of the financial support goes to external service providers; no other costs are reimbursed. A beneficiary may use as many services as needed within its ceiling. Support is paid after successful completion and verification of results. Each beneficiary is assigned a lead mentor. Beneficiaries of the first programme may apply again, provided their combined support stays within €50,000.
Evaluation
Proposals go through an eligibility check, possible pre-scoring, expert evaluation, a selection committee decision and legal screening before signature of the sub-grant agreement.
