The call funds SMEs, NGOs and natural persons developing immersive-technology solutions for cultural heritage, with financial support and technical mentoring. Up to six proposals will be supported.

Scope
HERIFORGE draws on three excellence hubs in Cyprus, Poland and Türkiye working on XR technologies, advanced IT, digital humanities infrastructures and cultural heritage resources. The call seeks innovative projects developing technical solutions that use immersive technologies for cultural heritage, addressing challenges defined by the hubs.
Support offered
Selected applicants receive financial support together with technical mentoring over up to six months, in three stages:
- Plan phase (up to one month): an individual mentoring plan with design, challenges, activities and budget; 20% of the grant is paid on completion
- Development phase (three months): a technical report on the prototype release; 50% of the grant is paid on completion
- Release phase (two months): a technical report on the demonstration carried out; 30% of the grant is paid on completion
Selection
A six-step process covers eligibility checks, alignment with project objectives, independent expert evaluation, an online jury day pitch for top-scoring applicants, consortium selection and legal checks before the sub-grant agreement.

- Applicants are to be established in Cyprus, Poland or Türkiye.
- Applicants from other EU Member States, their Overseas Countries and Territories or Horizon Europe Associated Countries may apply if they show a local footprint in those three countries (for example local staff or business record).
