Cet appel est annoncé mais pas encore ouvert. Les dates et les conditions peuvent encore changer.
Quel est l’objet de cet appel ?
The call funds organisations that run the European Researchers' Night and Researchers at Schools activities to bring research closer to the public and pupils. Projects receive lump sum funding of up to €350,000.
Que finance cet appel ?
Scope
Proposals should cover both the organisation of the European Researchers' Night and the Researchers at Schools initiative.
European Researchers' Night
A Europe-wide public event held every year on the last Friday of September, lasting up to two days, with possible pre-events and follow-up events. It targets the general public, with a focus on young people, families, pupils and students, especially those with little access to science. Activities can include exhibitions, hands-on experiments, science shows, debates, games and competitions, and should promote the European Union and EU-funded research.
Researchers at Schools
Researchers visit schools and other educational centres, and classes visit research facilities, through presentations, discussions, citizen science, summer schools or visits. Researchers may receive training in science communication beforehand. Involvement of researchers funded by Horizon Europe, notably by the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions, is highly encouraged.
Funding
Costs take the form of lump sum contributions. Applicants are encouraged to cover two editions of the Researchers' Night (2028 and 2029) and Researchers at Schools activities throughout the project. Requests above €350,000 may be penalised during evaluation unless strongly justified.
Expected outcomes
Better opportunities for researchers to engage with citizens and authorities, improved communication skills, and greater visibility of research organisations and research results.
