Creative Europe · CREA-CULT-2025-COOP-UA-1
Grants up to €50,000 to showcase works co-created by Ukrainian and other Creative Europe organisations in Ukraine and abroad.
Quel est l’objet de cet appel ?
The call funds partnerships of arts and culture organisations from Ukraine and other Creative Europe countries to showcase co-created works through public events. Grants of up to €50,000 cover up to 90% of project costs.
Que finance cet appel ?
Scope
The ZMINA:Resilience project of IZOLYATSIA Foundation, Maly Berlin and Trans Europe Halles supports projects that bring artistic and cultural works co-created by Ukrainian and other Creative Europe organisations to wider audiences through public presentation events in Ukraine and other Creative Europe countries. Works should explore the theme of resilience; all creative and cultural sectors are eligible except audiovisual.
Expected outcomes
Projects should maximise the visibility, audience reach, sustainability and future showcasing potential of the works. Partners are expected to adapt works to new audiences, for example through contextualisation, translation, involving local artists, experts and communities, or parallel programmes. Each project must hold at least six public presentation events, at least three in each of at least two countries, one of which must be Ukraine, and not in the home city or town of any applicant organisation. In Ukraine, hybrid or online formats are accepted for security reasons.
Eligible activities and costs
Preparation, rehearsals and production for the presentations, the public events themselves, and travel for organisational, rehearsal, creative and presentation purposes. Costs must be incurred after the grant agreement is signed and during implementation.
Budget and co-financing
The total funding available for the strand is €950,000 across all selection rounds. Grants cover up to 90% of total project costs; the remaining 10% must be covered by the applicants in money, not in kind. The final amount combines lump-sum units and actually incurred costs.
Evaluation
Two independent experts score relevance, quality (partnership balance, cross-cutting issues, accessibility, scale of engagement) and impact; a Selection Committee makes the final choice, considering geographical, sectoral and thematic diversity.
