The call supports higher education institutions in designing, adapting and running transnational joint programmes that meet the criteria of the Joint European Degree Label. It also funds support measures for students in those programmes. It is an Erasmus+ action managed by EACEA.
Kaj ta razpis financira?
Objectives
The action offers an experimental space for higher education institutions on the path towards a possible European degree. It supports the design, adaptation and implementation of innovative and inclusive transnational joint programmes at bachelor, master or doctoral level, aligned with the criteria of the Joint European Degree Label. Programmes may be in any field, with attention to strategic areas such as digital technologies and AI, clean and circular technologies, the New European Bauhaus, teacher professional development and sport.
Themes
Three themes are covered: creation of new joint programmes aligned with the label criteria; adaptation of joint programmes to those criteria; and student support mechanisms for inclusive access to programmes that hold or are seeking the label. Applicants choose the themes, and proposals covering more than one theme are encouraged.
Activities
Applicants are expected to create at least one new joint programme at EQF level 6, 7 or 8, or adapt at least one existing joint programme at those levels. Programmes already supported under other Erasmus+ actions are not considered new. Student support covers direct financial support to students, student services and institutional support for running the programmes. Financial support to students is managed as financial support to third parties, with open and transparent selection, and up to EUR 60,000 per third party.
Expected impact
Greater visibility of the label, more joint programmes that obtain or align with it, and greater inclusiveness and attractiveness of these programmes.

Kdo se lahko prijavi na ta razpis?
- Applicants (beneficiaries and affiliated entities) must be legal entities, public or private, established in an EU Member State (including overseas countries and territories) or in a listed EEA country or country associated to the Erasmus+ Programme.
- Higher education institutions must hold a valid Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE). Organisations made up of such institutions and set up for deep transnational cooperation do not need an ECHE but cannot be coordinators.
- A consortium of at least 2 beneficiaries from 2 different eligible countries is required; affiliated entities do not count towards this minimum.
- Associated partners may also come from non-associated third countries in the European Higher Education Area, and may be any public or private organisation active in education, training or employment.
- Natural persons are not eligible, except self-employed persons; EU bodies other than the Joint Research Centre cannot be part of the consortium; entities subject to EU restrictive measures are not eligible.
