Scope
The Bulgarian Fund for Women offers rapid response grants to civil society organisations in Bulgaria that need to react quickly to urgent situations affecting their work or their communities.
Eligible activities
- Responding to crisis situations and attacks on organisations
- Urgent advocacy or mobilisation opportunities
- Holistic security for activists
- Organisational transition in emergencies
- Emergency support for marginalised communities
Priorities
Priority is given to small, grassroots, rural and underfunded organisations, including those representing women, LGBTIQ+ people, minorities or refugees, or working on climate justice.
Evaluation
Applications are assessed on relevance to the programme objectives, urgency and need for immediate action, realism and feasibility of the response, contribution to resilience, equality and EU values, and the leadership and participation of affected groups. Applications are submitted online through the fund's platform.
